Training Expiry Notifications
Starting January 19, 2026, NBCSA will send training expiry notifications to both companies and trainees.
Notifications will be sent:
- 60 days before certificate expiry
- 30 days before certificate expiry
- On the date of expiry
Important:
- These emails are a courtesy only. Non-delivery does not mean certificates remain valid.
- Certificate dates shown in Safety Net are always the most accurate.
- Trainees enrolled in a class will not receive expiry notifications, but their certificate will still expire if training is not completed.
- No changes are being made to how expired certificates are handled.

Registration requests should still be sent to registration@nbcsa.ca
Training Reminder Notifications
Starting early 2026, NBCSA will send weekly training reminders (on Mondays) for the following week’s enrollment.
These reminders:
- Do not replace confirmations (they are supplemental).
- Will be sent to the company email used for registration or the general company email.
- Will be sent to the trainee’s work or personal email (if available).
NBCSA’s 2-business-day cancellation policy remains unchanged. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing with the registration department (registration@nbcsa.ca), or no-show fees will apply.

Starting around February 2, 2026, NBCSA will send COR® Letter of Good Standing (LoGS) expiry notifications:
- Sent at 90 days, 60 days, and 30 days before expiry.
