As the CEO of the New Brunswick Construction Safety Association (NBCSA), I bring over 25 years of progressive, international experience in construction safety and operations, combined with a strong passion for creating safer workplaces across the industry. My career has been built on a foundation of leading large-scale, high-impact capital projects—from infrastructure and residential developments to mining and decarbonization initiatives—always with safety as the top priority. Previously serving as Director of Safety Services at Construction Safety Nova Scotia, I led transformative strategies to improve safety outcomes, modernize training (including the use of VR), enhance customer service, and drive operational efficiency. I take pride in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration—key principles I now bring to NBCSA. My vision for NBCSA is clear: to strengthen our role as a leading voice in construction safety, influence positive change in legislation and industry practices, and that every worker in New Brunswick will go home safe. By leveraging national partnerships, empowering industry leaders, and advancing effective, right-sized safety protocols, I’m committed to building safer, more resilient construction environments across the province.
