This past summer we received $25,000.00 from the courts because of alternative sentencing that a contractor received due to a fatality at their work site in August of 2023. During late summer and fall this year we worked on the development of a course for “Working Around Heavy Equipment”. The course is now completed in both English and French. We will work during the winter months to develop this course into a classroom-based course as well.
Because of the funding we received due to this fatality, we at NBCSA felt it was only fair to offer this course complementary for the next few months. In saying that, students will need to register for the course the same as any of our courses but when they are completed the invoice will be Zero Dollars. We will be offering this service until March 8, 2025, but they have to have completed the course before the end of day March 8, 2025, at which time the course fees will revert to our usual $50.00 for a member,$90.00 for an associate member and $115.00 for a non-Member.
